A graduate of Waltham MA High School, Tufts University, and Tufts Dental
School, Waltham MA Dentist Dr. Valentino has practiced general
dentistry for over 25 years. For the first three years of his
career, he served as an officer in the Navy Dental Corps, training
under board certified specialists in all the dental disciplines. A
Fellow of The Academy of General Dentistry since 1984, Dr. Valentino
has taken over 2300 hours of continuing education in order to offer
his patients the most advanced techniques in modern dentistry. He has
lectured on computers and other topics to his colleagues in his
dental study club.

Waltham MA Dentist Dr. Valentino's
practice philosophy is a simple one: dentistry should still be all
about service--not sales. He strives to inform and educate his
patients, elicit their goals and desires, and help them achieve
these. He recognizes that a patient's goals--for reasons of physical
tolerance, age, and financial means--can range from the ultimate
cosmetic makeover to just getting by safely. He wants to get back to
the spirit of old fashioned doctoring: putting himself in the
patient's place. That means friendliness, genuine concern, and taking
the time to listen and to plainly explain all your options so that
you can make the best decisions about your health care.

With the groundwork of
understanding and respect established, Waltham Dentist Dr.
Valentino's first concern is his patient's comfort and safety. He is
sympathetic to his patient's fears and well versed in anxiety
reducing and pain control methods. He hopes that his patients feel
that they are visiting the home of a trusted family friend.

and his fiancée Cindy enjoy jazz dancing and are enthusiastic
supporters of local theater and community activities. Other interests
include cooking, gardening, woodworking, antiquing, electronics, and
traveling throughout New England.
